Chance Me Please

I’m an Indian who moved to the US about 5 years ago. My Biggest problem is that I don’t know where to apply, so please suggest schools you think I should add to my list. (BTW, I have been doing research and talking to my counselor, she suggested case western reserve, Purdue, Carnegie Mellon( which I think it’s a way reach/no match so not sure why she suggested it) and Miami university( don’t think they have a good engineering program). I would like to go into computer and electronic/electric engineering.

Chance Me for:
Ohio State university ( trying for the Morrill Scholarship)
University of Dayton
University of Cincinnati
Any other universities you might think I should apply to around Ohio.

Sorry for the long post! And Thank You!

CMU: Reach (it’s reachable)
OSU: Safety
U Dayton: Safety
U Cincinnati: Safety
Case Western: Low match
Purdue: Low match

thanks Catria!
Another college I’m thinking about is Rose Hulman Institute of technology. it seems nice but doesnt seem very well known.

Bump…

Rose Hulman is a great alternative! Nice campus, smaller than some of the schools you’ve mentioned, if you prefer that. PM me if you have any other specific questions

DO NOT submit your SAT. You have a very good ACT, and submitting both would hurt you.

With that said:

CMU: Reach
OSU: Safety
U Dayton: Safety
U Cincinnati: Safety
Case Western: Low Match
Purdue: Low Match

Rose-Hulman: Match

You can even aim for the Ivies (even though there’s one Ivy that’s above the rest for CS/E, Cornell) if you wanted to.

@Momofmanytoo: it seems like a good school. I’d love to PM when i have specific questions thanks.
@debater1996: Thanks for advice!
@catria: thanks again for the advice… I might try if i can raise my act score.
