All reach. Very high reach. GPA too low and scores too.

Assuming that I raise my gpa to atleast a 3.6 and raise my SAT score to atleast 2100, will I have a chance?

NYU and Rice, a 2100 will be considerable. The others will be much harder 2250+ ; Your gpa will definitely be a blow so try your best to raise that as high as you can.

Well, those stats were unbiased answers.

I must say being Hispanic will be tremendously helpful. I know of a student who got a 1950(SAT) and attends Cornell. These stories vary so your ethnicity may help you in the long run. However, I advise you not to depend on that. Try your best and be the highest no matter what your ethnicity is.

All of them are pretty unlikely reaches, but don’t fret: there’s hope!

Like the others have said, improving your SAT will go a long way. A Latino kid who went to my school a couple of years ago got into Rice with a lower-than-Ricetastic SAT score (somebody told me that it was about an 1800). Just highlight your strengths and write great essays.
