Chance me please!!

Hello guys. I am an international student who is now studying in the UK. I wanna do economics or business in the uni.

My SAT I : 1990 (Reading:630 Math:660 Writing:700) <should i="" do="" it="" one="" more="" time?=""> and I am going to take the SAT II (US hist & Math II)in the coming nov... </should>

I am not sure how important my GCE A-Levels predicted grades are.. Are they equivalent to the GPA in the states?

Following are my grades:
History: A in AS and is predicted A* in A-Level
Economics: A in AS and is predicted A* in A-Level
Math(Advanced) completed A Level : A
Religious Studies: (only in AS) predicted A in AS
Chinese: B in AS and predicted A in A-Level

I don't have any GCSEs qualifications since I skipped the GCSEs (year 11) last year and went straight into Year 12-13 (GCE)...

And for ECs:
Member of the Model United Nations (in my UK school)
Speech and Drama (LAMDA) (British)
(L.E.A.P)Enterprise competition in the UK (my team got several awards)
Russian language (I have learnt for 2 years in HK and self-studied when I come to the UK)
Some awards for Prose reading
Debate team (in HK school)
Internship in Manulife ltd last summer

That's all I can remember right now..

My recommendations are great i would say....

I really wanna get in Northwestern (I'm doing early action); others choices : NYU (stern?); UCLA(bizcon); UMichigan and UCSD?...

So in overall aspects, what do you guys think my chances are for these uni? And what other uni do you guys recommend? Thanks a lot!!! x

You may be a match to UCSD. Your SAT is a bit low for NYU and UMich that they would be low reach for you. Reach for NU.

Thanks! so if i retake the SAT on Dec what scores will fit for NYU/Umich?.. are you meaning that my chance for NWU is pretty slim?.. I have been hoping to get in NWU for a long time… anyway… I am going to try ED to NWU even though my chance is super slim…

For UMich, the mid 50 SAT is 2030-2250. The business school at UMich (Ross) is very competitive that you need to have even higher score than the mid 50 of UMich to have a better chance.
