I got 1490 in sat and 89 in my toefl.I completed my 12th(high school) last year i.e. in 2012 May and then did training related to stock market and accounting softwares for 1 year. Can anyone please please tell me my chances in nyu stern or usc marshall to major in accounts. Also some alternate schools as per my score?

Your file is very incomplete: no GPA, and is that 1490 CR+M or on the 2400 scale?

Please list your GPA, ECs, Honors/Awards, Race/Ethnicity, FULL SAT I/II or ACT scores.

here we dont have gpa. i got 70 % in 12th.I have won many contests in dance and singing and have certificate stating i have completed formal education is classical music and participation certificates in national of table soccer. Nothing to great in short.By gods grace paying fees is no problem and I am from India.I got 530 in maths and 470 in reading and 490 in writing and 1490 is total that is from 2400.

Sorry but you absolutely have no chance…

please suggest some alternate colleges according to my scores.I would appreciate it.

omg please suggest guys…please your advice can help someone in planning their future

You need to retake SAT and score at LEAST 2000(imo) to be a competitive international applicant, and your GPA is WAYY too low which makes it almost impossible even if you get yourself 2000+ imo.

In short i cant get admission anywhere in usa i mean in top 100 colleges?

what do you suggest should i drop my plan to study in usa?

~1500 = Avg. SAT score in US. Imo, yes… unless you can get up your SAT score.

Thanks a lot man really appreciate it. But last 2 things i would like to know. What are the approximate deadlines for the fall sessions in most of the colleges and the most important thing-will my gap year after 12th that is from 2012 May to 2014 Fall be a problem in admission or visa. That my last question promise.

Sorry, but I do not know the answer to that question, however, I don’t think that would be a problem in obtaining visa(admission it might).

A big big thanks to you

NYU Stern: High reach
USC Marshall: High reach

And, for me, a high reach is unreachable…

If you can stomach Arizona, UAZ Eller…

not even boston university?
