Why are you retaking the SAT when you already have a 35 ACT? Your Subject test scores are on the low side and you’d have to send all of them if you send the SAT.

If I send the SAT subject tests, won’t I have to send the SAT as well anyway? I was under the impression that I would need to send all College Board scores to Yale if I sent any.

Exactly. So I’m saying why would you want to send ANY SATs/Subject tests when you can just send your 35 ACT? And if you’re not going to send your SATs, why would you sit it again in Dec?

p.s. Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race. Hispanics can be of any race(s).

So my application won’t look any worse if I just submit the ACT without any subject tests?

Sorry for all the questions. I’m just very nervous because Yale is my dream school and I want to do anything I can to make my application look better.

Sending the ACT without Subject tests will not hurt your application.

As they are now, your Subject tests could hurt as much as help your application.

Forget about dream schools, just make a solid list of safety/match/reach schools that fit your academic, personal and financial needs/wants.

P.S. read the Resources sticky thread on the Hispanic Students forum (under College Admissions, Speciality Topics) for lots of information on fly-in weekends, scholarships, etc.
