Hi, I have applied to UCF and it is my first choice of schools to attend. I really want to be a Knight. According to my GC i qualify for admissions; but, with the information I have found on the UCF website and what I see posted on the forums I am very unsure this will be a reality for me. I am a terrible test taker. I have taken the ACT several times receiving a 22 composite score every time. If I improve in one subject - I tank another. My last ACT scores English 25; Math 23; Reading 24; Science 17; Combined English/Writing 24. Will I be eligible with these scores. I am taking the ACT again; but, im not very confident I will improve considering. Thanks

What is your gpa?

Enless its extremly high im sorry u will most liklet be defferd i was with a 3.6 and 23 act

SemiLittles, keep trying!! How are your first semester grades? If you are doing well then definitely send in an updated transcript! Also, take a couple more practice tests on your own before the next test date. Write a killer essay, too! I’m sure you have more going for you than a test score. The worst case scenario is to attend a community college that gives you a guaranteed admission into UCF. If you are local, I believe you can even attend all the UCF events (but verify that) so you can get to know your future classmates early on. Good luck!

Robby2306, good luck to you, too! :-)

thanks! - COLCON2010

So i have been deferred from summer 2014 .I had a 23 act and 3.4 / 3.6 gpa uw and weighted

What percent of deferred students are admitted?

If i do not submit new scores etc. do i even have a chance? Or will i be denied with my current stats

Thanks! Really worried what should i do… I have already taken the sat numerous times and have not went up past 1600 and act in the 23 / 24 range
