<p>I applied SCEA to Yale this year, and I'm wondering what other people will think of my chances. I'll try to give a general idea of who I am when it comes to academics and extra-curriculars.</p>

~ACT: 34 composite

--33 Math
--32 Reading
--36 Science
--30 Combined English/writing (08 on essay)
~Very competitive public high school (one of the top 10 in NYS.) My school does not rank.
~Took AP World, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Calc BC...am currently taking AP Physics and AP French. Did well on all tests.
~Double-advanced math since 7th grade, took single-advanced from 4th grade through 6th grade
~Have taken accelerated/honors classes for all of high school in almost all subjects.
~Placed regionally and nationally twice for National French Contest
~Great (at least I think so) teacher recommendations</p>
<p>~Key Club member for 4 years, Treasurer this year
~Yearbook Club member for 2 years, Editor this year
~Member of Math Honor Society and Art Honor Society (will likely be part of National Honor Society but my school doesn't announce that until later into senior year)
~raised almost $6000 this past summer for my county's Sheriff's Department so they could buy bulletproof vests for their K-9 officers. I got a supplementary recommendation from the Sheriff himself.
~Competitive softball player for 7 years, varsity softball member for 2 years</p>
