I've been browsing this cite for a while. It helps me pass the time as I wait for my decision so if you could chance me, I would greatly appreciate it. I've applied to A&M and Baylor as well, and have gotten into both.

*Applying as a Freshman for Fall 2014

What major did you apply to? Since you’re not an auto admit it will be more difficult since they only accept about 25% of the applicants that aren’t in the top 7%. It’s competitive because you’re competing with out of state students as well. Your stats are good, but you would have a better chance if your SAT was above a 1900 or ACT 29+

Chance me too please sorry to take over post really nervous.

Classof14hs, I applied to the College of Education as my first choice. Do you think I would have better luck applying as a Transfer since I have 69 Credit Hours and a 3.84 GPA?

College of Education is not as competitive as Business or Engineering but I know that if you’re a non auto admit it is usually easier to transfer in. A lot of my friends got into UT that way because they had a high GPA, but aren’t you still in high school right now?

I’m still in high school, but I’m in an early college high school so I take mostly dual credit courses taught at a community college. When I graduate, I’ll have 69 credits so I figured it might just be easier to transfer instead.
