Love your ECs, college courses, and GPA, but the SAT is at the top of the bottom quartile.

Does the GPA include the college courses? If not, what grades did you get in the college courses?

My SAT isn’t good  In Tennessee we are usually told not to take it, so I barely studied. My ACT is better, but I believe UMD looks at SAT.

My dual enrollment classes are not weighted which sucks. I have all As in them.

Do you know if getting into environmental science and policy is difficult?

UMD does list the ACTs of enrolled freshmen on this webpage:

[Office of Undergraduate Admissions · University of Maryland » Freshman Profile](http://www.admissions.umd.edu/counselor/FreshmanProfile.php)

You’ll see there that the middle 50 is 28-32, so your 29 would stand you well. I assume tho that you sent in the SAT. Oh, well, can’t change that now.

What’s really going to help is the transcript that says that you have As in those 4-yr college courses, some of them pretty tough classes like Stats.

So you’re probably better than even money. My S’s gf who graduated last year says that “policy” is NOT an LEP, a limited enrollment program.

Thanks! I sent in both my SAT and ACT.

Based on my stats would you say I have a 50/50 chance of getting in?

better than even money means better than 50-50.
