Background Information:
1. In 2013, I chose NIT Uttarakhand as my college in place of CMI because of NIT brand name and B.Tech degree but now I regret my earlier decision. Moreover, recent calamity in Uttarakhand destroyed one of our hostel. Many experienced faculties have also left the institute out of fear. In these circumstances, I have dropped my 1st semester and now applying to U.S. Universities.
2. I dont need financial aid.
Please chance me for:
1. Georgia Tech
2. University of Illinois Urbana Champaign
3. New York University
4. Purdue University
5. University of Maryland
6. University of Wisconsin Madison
7. Pennsylvania State University
8. Boston University
9. University of Massachusetts Amherst

From the above stats, I can clearly see that you had prepared a lot for jee instead of your twelfth. Judging by your sat subject tests, you must be really good in the core subjects. But the problem is your sat 1 scores. Even purdue, which some people say that they accept all Indians, requires a minimum cr score of 480. If possible, retaking the sat 1 to increase your cr and writing would help a lot due to your great ECs. So unfortunately, most of the schools ask for a higher cr score.

if you could get that sat up to a 2000, preferably a 2100 then you should apply to HYPSM because your EC’s truly stand out.

Thanks Sanjay1023 for your reply but I think December SAT score is the last SAT score which is acceptable to U.S. Universities for fall admissions. Moreover, I have not registered for January SAT and thus will not be able to improve it. Do you think I have any chance in Pennsylvania State University?

U do stand a chance but its tough as ur 11th and 12th performances are poor. Though, the Indian students understand u were preparing for JEE US universities don’t understand this. So, try to increase ur SAT I score.
