<p>Can you chance me for Amherst, Brown, Williams, Vassar, Dartmouth, Cornell, Pomona, Notre Dame, and University of Michigan. </p>

<p>ACT (36 English, 36 Reading, 18 Math, 20 something Science ) I'm going to retake it, no prep for this one
GPA ( 3.8 something, not terribly sure)
Class Rank (definitely top 10/15 percent)
AP (US History 5, this year Latin and AP Govt. My school doesn't have too too many)
SAT II ( will take Latin and US History, probably upper 700s)
ECs
Teach English to migrant children

Sustainable Foods Club
Rugby team 3x state

<p>It’s too early to tell. A 3.8 is a great GPA, but not for the schools you mention. The ACT is a big hurt; it’s got to come up a lot. Some of these schools are turning away 4.0/36 each year. The ECs and life story are interesting. I like the rugby/tennis and the teaching immigrant children; they stand out. The essays will have to be extraordinary, of course. Deep South could help. I like you for Vassar, Notre Dame, and UMich (but UMich isn’t going to be the costliest of the bunch, perhaps) if the ACT hits 32. If the ACT hits 34 and the GPA turns out 3.8-3.9 by this time next year, there’s a possibility of the others.</p>
