I'm currently a junior and have only taken the SAT's one time, so I'm hoping to get them up! I've taken mostly honors and by the end of high school I will have taken AP US History, AP Composition, AP Literature, AP European History, and AP Government. I'm part of a lot of clubs and have played volleyball up until this year. Freshman year I got a 3.5, Sophomore year I got a 3.7, and Junior year so far I have a 4.4! I consistently get A's and B's, but I have one C on my transcript. I recently visited Clemson and LOVED it! any and all honest responses will be greatly appreciated! Thank You.

You’ve got a good chance - keep those grades up!

I’ve been admitted into Clemson University, and I think you have a pretty good chance too. It’s not that difficult to get in. Don’t stress too much about it.

I think you will get in. However, I would defiantly take the SATs again since then you may be able to get more financial aid especially be an out-of-state kid.

You should get it. I’m a highschool junior and I live in Clemson. If you have above a 1220 sat, then you will get accepted because Clemson gives merit scholarships to out of state students with that score I believe. I received provisional acceptance last week with a 1370, so if you can get anywhere close to that, then there is no doubt in my mind that you will get in.

Imangineer10 - how does the provisional acceptance work? I have a senior who will be there in the fall, but also have a freshman in high school. When she is a junior, what does she have to do to receive a provisional acceptance if her SATs are high enough? We are in state.

I think you have to get your test scores sent to Clemson - they’ll evaluate any information given to College Board and determine if they should give you provisional acceptance.
