Hey guys, I'm a high school junior trying to get a feel for what schools I can and can't get into. My GPA is a 4.4 out 5, but this year I have all A's and A-'s. My SAT score is a 2060 and I participate in a lot of extracurriculars like National Honor Society. Do I have a chance at getting into George Washington University or Tulane?
Thanks so much

Can you be a bit more specific as far as EC’s go? Also, do you know your class rank, or the rigor of your courses?
Finally, what’s your CR/M/W breakdown?
Your SATs and GPA are okay for GWU, not anything that really stands out too much. Are you taking it again?
Tulane’s a bit more of a reach right now, but retaking the test could help your chances. With more information, I could give you a better chance but for now:
GWU: High Match
Tulane: Low Reach/Reach

I agree with the above post, you have a better chance at Tulane in my opinion though. Ec’s would be helpful. Think you could chance me back?

Thanks for the info guys. For SAT’s I’m at a 740 CR, 630 M, and 700 Writing. For extracurriculars I’m the cochair of my school’s suicide prevention coalition, I’m the VP of National Honor Society, and I represent my school before the mass board of education once a month. Does that stuff make much of a difference? I take the most rigorous english and french classes available, high level history and mid level math. I’ve pulled all A’s this year but had a really weak freshman year. Happy to chance you IVCUSA11! Let me figure out how

Also for EC’s I’ve done a lot of community service abroad and been in a couple leadership programs. I work at a local restaurant when I have time.
