<p>Hey everyone! I'm currently finishing my junior year. I'd like if you guys could chance me for UPenn (Wharton), UC Berkeley, Stanford, MIT, Columbia, UT Austin (McCombs), UMichigan- Ann Arbor(Ross), and the University of Chicago.

No AP courses (none offered to Freshmen)

2 AP Courses: AP US History (A+/5 on exam) and AP Human Geography(A+/5 on exam)
Junior Year: GPA 5.63/4.0
6 AP Courses: AP Spanish Language and Culture, AP English 3, AP World History, AP Physics, AP Psychology, AP Calculus BC
Senior Year: (projected) 5.67/4.0
AP Courses: AP English 4, AP Biology, AP Government/AP Macroeconomics (1 semester each), AP Statistics
Only taking 5 (4 AP+Debate III) courses my senior year (Early release/Late Arrival due to having enough credits)</p>

<p>Class Rank: 11/1009 (2%, hope to get into the top 1% by the end of Senior fall semester)</p>

1st in state Parliamentary Procedure (for HOSA): 2 years in a row (so far)
Top 10 for national HOSA Parliamentary Procedure: this year (going to try and get 1st next year)
State debate awards/competed nationally
2nd in Parliamentary Procedure for BPA state, did not place at nationals (going to try again next year)
Competed nationally for DECA 2 years in a row</p>

Spanish Honor Society
Debate for 2 years (next year will be my 3rd year)- Extremely committed to debate, will write extensively about it in my essays.

<p>The reason for making this post is that I feel my extracurriculars are seriously lacking. My only major extracurricular is debate. I really love doing debate and have dedicated many hours a week to it and it is honestly the only extracurricular activity I have found a true passion for. I fear that my dream schools will reject me just because of my lack of ECs. </p>

<p>Any suggestions would be helpful, as well!</p>

<p>Your academics look very promising for all of the schools. I would say that you have a very good chance of getting in Michigan and UT, early and regular. I also think that you have a very good change of getting into the others early, but regular you will be competing with more students like yourself. Stanford is probably the farthest reach, as it is the most selective, then Columbia and MIT. The debate looks pretty strong, but schools love to see students who have been committed to one thing for many years. How long have you been doing your hours of community service? That may be a promising EC that they will like. MIT might also like to see more tech stuff, but that’s just a guess.</p>
