Chance Me Please!

I really want to go to either Boston University or Northeastern University

I am a sophomore in high school. Last year, I took all honors courses and got straight A's. This year, I am taking all honors and two AP courses. I have gotten mostly B's, with a few A's. I think I got a 3 on my Euro AP exam, and a 4 or 5 on my Stats exam. This summer I plan to do the Boston University Summer Challenge and hopefully take a class or two at Brown University.

I also participate in soccer, and would love to play soccer for either of these schools! I played JV my freshman year and varsity this year. I am also involved in varsity indoor and outdoor track and field. Next year, I am going to join the ski club as well.

As far as volunteering goes, I am going to volunteer for a local nature organization and animal shelter this summer. I also have a job at a chain restaurant

What are my chances of getting into BU or Northeastern?

Could you list your uw/w gpa and any test scores? I’m assuming your w gpa should be ok considering you took all honors/APs but it would be hard to say w/o an SAT or ACT score. Here are the profiles of admitted students for both schools:

http://www.bu.edu/admissions/about-bu/profile/</a>
http://www.northeastern.edu/admissions/apply/profile.html</a></p>

If you are in the range test score/gpa wise and if you write excellent essays I would say you have a good chance. I would recommend increasing your ec’s if that is possible. Otherwise, you’re on track. Good luck! Chance me back?

Okay great! I am so excited! I haven’t taken the SAT’s or ACT’s yet. I am taking those next year, when I will be a junior. My unweighted GPA is 3.7 and my weighted is 4.2
