I'm looking to major in Comp Sci, Business, or do Premed (major in biology or something similar)

Thanks to anyone who can give me their opinions!

Possible Schools I'd want to go too:
stanford, upenn, uchicago, Harvard, MIT, Yale, Princeton

Likely an essay on music, and how this is really a part of me and everything I do.

I know my test score (34) isn't the best, but I hope the things I do really show what I'm going for. I may be building a 3d printer and starting a company off of that later.

Also, any extra tips on college apps would be awesome. Im particularly wondering how I should present myself in the resume, (as you can see) I have a wide range of things and activities I'm involved in and it's difficult to fit everything in a tiny space (camps i've done, experience, time i put in etc)

No need to retake the ACT… however, while realistic, all seven are reaches. In fact you can pre-med while majoring in CS or business. But, for entrepreneurial types, I’d recommend Brown BEO over UChicago.

UMinn: Safety
Berkeley: Match

Impressive awards, hospital-reading volunteering, and researching opportunities! Your academic standing is great as well! IMO, HYPS and MIT are reaches (for everyone), but low reach for upenn and possibly uchicago even though I don’t know much about that school. I am a rising senior interested in premed myself, so we’ll see how it goes!
Good luck!

you can take the October 25, 2014 ACT if u want as those scores should reach the schools in time…

I’d say high reach for all, ECs are kinda weak. ACT needs improvement, you are probably going to need a 36. Some schools offer 0.33 GPA points for A+ but you are only at 4.0? There are going to think you are slacking off. That 3 in AP english is going to be really tough to explain to the admissions committee. Only 2nd place in a national science olympiad? Dude… I would just start looking at some state universities because this resume is going to need a lot of work. And no, I am not being sarcastic.

I’m crying ;_;

If this is my competition for class of 2019 i truly don’t stand a chance lol

Anyway… All reaches, but you are very likely to get in at least one of them. And, 34 in the ACT is great! No need to retake! You should also apply to your state flagship as a safety net! :)

Your academic credentials are exceptional! Congratulations! The schools that you mention are reaches for everyone, every component of your application will matter. Your essays will be very important, your recommendation letters will also be very imprortant. Hopefully they will reflect your character and give the admissions people a very good sense of who you are.
Definitely have some matches and safety schools in the mix of your applications.
Best wishes and good luck!

Hard to predict to with the top schools but I would say up I will get into more then you get rejected. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1671552-chance-for-a-few-schools.html#latest</a> chance me

HYPM are redness bit you will get into 1 of them maybe even two. Awards are amazing.
Chance back- “improving chances”

University of Chicago I would say is your match… Every other college it is hard to tell! I definitely think you are a competitive applicant, so just make sure your essays really shine. I think you have a pretty good chance at getting into at least two of the Ivies you listed, but their application process is so random that it’s hard to know for sure. Best of luck to you and congrats on a stellar high school career!

What an interesting post psc2ivy

You’re definitely in the running for all these places, but it’s always tough. Really depends upon your essay.
