Chance me please?

Hi everyone, I’m an incoming senior at a public high school in the northwest Chicago suburbs. My stats are as follows:

Gpa: 4.0 unweighted
Class rank: Either top 1% to 2% (Last terms grades aren’t in the ranking system yet)
Act: 31 composite (32 English, 36 Math, 25 Reading, 31 Science)
APs: AP Calculus AB (5) AP Computer Science A (4)
Senior Course load: Calculus 2 at local community college, AP Physics B, AP Psychology, Honors English, Honors Spanish 4, Accounting 1 (needed to fulfill graduation requirement)
Intended major: Mathematics
State of residence: Illinois
Extracurriculars: Varsity Baseball two years, President of 3 religious youth service organizations, attended a selective leadership training course for athletics at my school, co-founded a community event website and Facebook page
Ethnicity: White

I know admissions especially at schools like brown are hard to predict but I would just like to know if you think I have a realistic shot at being admitted. I have not taken the SAT II’s, on the admissions website it says they are not necessary for students who take the ACT but do you think I should take them anyways. Thanks in advance!

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to improve my application. If you need any more information please ask!

I think there’s a possibility, but as of right now, it’s a reach. I’d recommend retaking the ACT for a score around 33-35 perhaps. Also, make sure your essays are killer to compensate for any shortcomings. They say that the 3 major things in college admissions are rank, standardized tests, and the essay. You already have fulfilled one of the requirements with rank, so just get those other two up and your chances will increase tremendously!

I really appreciate your response. I know it is a reach but I’ll never know if I don’t try. I really do think my essays will be good (easy enough to say haha) but I have a life story (that I’m not willing to share on here) that I believe will really look good on my application.

If anyone is looking at this wondering if they have a chance. I ended up getting in early decision. As you can see from my stats, I wasn’t the most flashy applicant but just remember–anything is possible!
