-AP Calculus (worst mistake of my life, LOL)

-AP English Literature/Composition
-AP Government
-AP Macroeconomics
-AP Biology
GPA: Non-weighted: 3.89
Weighted: 4.0
SAT: 1710 (terribly low, but I test horribly) (p.s. Just took the ACT today for the first time)
Ethnicity: African-American
Special Circumstances: I have Sickle Cell Disease
I plan to apply Early Action but I feel like I will get deferred to RD or even worse, denied.</p>
<p>You definitely won’t be denied. Or at least not early action. Your stats are very good!
Your GPA is excellent but make sure you calculate your UGA GPA which is a bit different.
Your SAT isn’t the worst and I’ve definitely seen people get in with less. Also, the most important factors for UGA are class rigor and GPA, both of which you have. </p>
<p>Lastly, if it so happens that you are deferred to regular decision, your special circumstances will be a huge plus. </p>

<p>@Rochelle96 UGA also only uses the math and critical reading/English components of the SAT and ACT just fyi. I doubt this will affect your decision by much but just a heads up!</p>
