Job/Work Experience:
It's hard for Chinese students to find a part-time job (and illegal most of the time). I am currently working for a Taiwan translation company, but I did not mention that in my application because I got it several days before. Do you think I should send an email to the admission office to tell them this news? I am also organizing a tutoring group with other students who plan to study abroad, but it will not start until January.

Essays (rating 1-10, details): 8. My common application essay was about my tutoring experience. Overall it was good, but too many people write about that. As for the one for CMC...I have done a thorough college research, but I am not sure whether I've done a good job.

Recommendations (rating 1-10, details):

Teacher Rec #1: 9, from my math teacher, he has been teaching me since grade 10 and knows me well. It should be great but he has not written recommendation for students before.

Teacher Rec #2: 10, my American teacher who teaches English Speaking class (once per week). I performed very well in his class and also participated in an English Corner (where we discussed literature, history, philosophy, and politics) he organized. He also helped me to improve my writing skills. Knows me well and said he would write about my interest in politics and other social affairs.

Counselor Rec: should be quite general, maybe ended up listing my awards and activities since I am in a pretty big school (800+ students/grade) and there's only one school counselor

Additional Rec: 10, my instructor in Business Simulation Association, also an English teacher.

Interview: will do it tomorrow
