Chance me please!

Also, for the “community” essay, don’t write the usual stuff - my country, my school etc.
Try and write something unique.
If your part of some extra curricular you can even write about that as a community … e.g. - If you’re a passionate trekker, you can write about how you feel like a part of a trekking ‘community’ or something …

@ss124081‌ Thanks a ton! I’m writing about how I consider myself to be part of a group of polyglots (people who speak many languages). I hope that’s unique enough.

@TodaysEinstein‌ that sounds great !!

@TodaysEinstein I applied to the LSA college this year and was admitted (class of 2019 I guess). For the essays, look deep into all the events that have happened in your life. Which stands out you the most? I wrote about a personal issue and if you’d like to read it you can. Also, I am more than willing to read any essays you have written and give some advice. Though, I would take any advice given from me or anyone in general with a grain of salt.

@ss124081‌ @Aaly222‌ you guys are the best :’) I’ll definitely keep in contact! I want to make my essays the best possible so i’ll probably submit them late in january :D

sure :smiley: you can send the essays to me to read too ! @TodaysEinstein‌

I just talked to a high school senior a couple days ago. He got deferred from CoE with 33/3.8 from one of the feeder school in state.

And… I got rejected, attending Georgia Tech in the Honors Program though :smiley:

Thanks everyone :smiley:

I am not surprised. The in state student I mentioned above also got rejected from UMich CoE this year.
