I have a 31 ACT, 730 on BioE and 730 on mathI SAT IIs. About 102 weighted gpa. #2 in class of 127. Lots of ECs with leadership in about all of them. I know it's probably a reach, but what do you think my chances are for Brown University? What colleges do you think I'm a fit for (in the Northeast)?

Your ACT isn’t out of Brown’s boundaries of accepted scores, but it’s also not high on their range. It’s hard to evaluate your weighted GPA without course types (AP/IB?) since all schools are different.

For a score of 31 on the ACT, you would be a good match for schools like New York University and Boston University. Both schools have prestige behind them but are sketchy on financial need unless your stats are super high.

If it’s helpful, I’ve taken AP language&composition, APUSH, AP Bio. I’m taking AP Euro, AP Physics, AP Calc, and AP Lit

I think that you have a fairly decent chance as long as your essays and recs are great. Good luck!
