I would like input on my chances of being accepted into a few different colleges. Your opinion will be greatly appreciated.
Grades:
9th Grade: GPA 1.8
10th Grade: GPA 3.4
11th Grade: GPA 4.17
12th Grade: GPA 4.54 (have not attended yet but planning to take all but one AP)
SAT: 2200
Activities:
9th Grade: Played golf with a golf academy. Only had five classes, which meant I left school at 12:00 everyday to practice. Thought I would play as a career which is why I did not care about academics.
10th Grade: Only golf again. Towards the end of the year I had to have surgery on both of my knees and was diagnosed with arthritis and osteocondritis desicans. Because of this I was told by two different doctors to never play golf again. I immediately started taking school seriously and my grades went from C’s and D’s to A’s within a few weeks.
11th Grade: No sports.
Member of a study area of concentration in business and financial management.
Member of the programming team and have competed in three competitions thus far.
Member of Business and Financial Management Club.
Member of Computer Club.
Summer before senior year:
Going to do volunteer work in Africa as well as an internship at a financial firm in Cape Town.
