SAT: 1710 (ugh!!) but then I’m taking again in June
IB diploma student who just moved in junior year (two 7’s, two 6’s, one five and one four sigh)
Had a 3.5 to 3.7 GPA in my former school (although I think this will go up, because the system in my former school is very…confusing)

I also forgot. I’m an advanced Suzuki violinist. I’ve been taking it for 7 years, and I’m pretty good! I’ve done multiple recitals and have played for large crowds. I’m hoping to graduate into another level by the end of the year.

Had a year-long fundraiser dedicated to improving playground and school supplies of pre-school children

Packed and provided relief goods, reaching more than a hundred people

You have a list of very highly competitive schools. You will need to bring your SAT score up substantially.

By all means apply to these schools. But if studying in the US is truly a priority, also consider some outstanding schools where you have a much better chance of gaining admission, such as Beloit, College of Wooster, Ohio Wesleyan U, Earlham, etc. The Colleges That Change Lives website might be a good place to start.
