Will have 13 AP’s by the end of senior year, but I let my grades slip beginning 1st semester sophomore year, but there has been an upward trend since then
Which state do u live in because some of these public schools will be hard to get in as an out of state student.
Don’t apply to UC Berkeley if you’re OOS.
NYU, Michigan, and UNC are probably matches.
You are competitive for the others but those are reaches for everyone.
UNC and Berkeley are reaches since you’re OOS. NYU is a match but very expensive. Michigan is a match. Rest are reaches. You are a strong candidate for these schools but you should consider some safety schools because of they have low acceptance rates.
What is your intended major?
GPA 3.8 ACT 33 would be a low reach fro UMich from OOS as GPA below admission average. UMich is not easier than UNC for OOS due to the low admission rate.
Your stats are very similar to my D who graduated this spring. Illinois, 36 vs 33 but similar GPA, APs and ECs. She was waitlisted then rejected at U.Chicago. These are all reasonable reach schools for you. If you are an URM or first generation or legacy you may have some advantage. Focus on your essays and make sure you really understand why these schools are a good fit
I think all of these universities are matches/high matches! You have a good GPA, solid ACT, and nice ECs. Chance back?
