So considering that your school is the secnod best in the country, your scores make sense, however that CGPA in 9th is a little low…your SAT scores are kind of low too, its understandable that your writing and reading are low since you’re international, but for the schools that you are applying to, a 700+ math is a must!

UCD: Low Reach

EC’s are great. SAT too low for the UC’s. Need to retake and aim for a 2000+.

are there ay other good places i can apply to for civil engg.? also i probably wont be needing financial aid( will this enhance my chances?)

Not requiring financial aid may help but it will not overcome a lower than average SAT/GPA. If you are an International applicant, you will receive little to no financial aid for UCLA/UCSD and UCD so expect to pay $55K+/year and if you are OK with these costs, then go ahead and apply.
Having a balanced college list means having a few Reaches, a few Matches and a Few safeties. If you really want to attend a UC, then UC Santa Cruz and UC Riverside would be good Match schools for you. Unless you get your SAT score up, I believe the rest of the UC’s be slightly out of Reach.

@futurecivilguy14 reach means that you need to try ur best on ur essays and show the schools WHY you are the perfect fit for them…and also have a couple safety schools

Your SAT score is too low for most of the engineering schools on your list. You should find some matching schools.

For engineering, you need to aim much lower.
