So I’m going into senior year of high school after this summer.
My SAT scores right now are 1670/2400 and I plan to take it once more. I got a 500 on critical reading, 530 on math, and 640 on writing.
My GPA from freshman, sophomore, and junior year averaged out is a 3.27 out of 4.0
I did 3 honors classes (History, French, English) and no sports or AP. Only EC’s are that I’m a member of my school’s French Honors Society, a member of my school’s women’s activism club, and I was a member of FBLA freshman and sophomore year. If it helps, senior year I will be an officer for Women’s activism club.
What are my chances for SEBS and my chances for SAS?
Btw I’m in state and I’m southeast asian
I know people with worse stats get into rutgers. Getting in in-state for Rutgers is easy Your SAT is fine and your GPA is a bit low but I think you’ll still get in for both schools. SEBS tends to be easier to get into but not by much. If you improve SATs by 50 points and have a good first semester of senior year (most if not all As) I think you can call Rutgers a safe bet.
I’m going to have to disagree with ishkundu. The average SAT score for the Class of 2019 is around 1880 and I think the average GPA is around 3.7 (don’t hold me to the GPA, but the SAT score is accurate). SEBS is starting to accept less students (about 650) with higher stats. I’m not saying you won’t make it in, you have a chance, but I don’t think it’s as easy as ishkundu is making it sound. Just try your best to get A’s and a higher SAT score. Good luck!
