-GPA: 95.6
-I have only taken 3 APs, and will only take the tests for two (at the end of this year). I have taken many honors classes and 4 college classes though (2 on a campus, 2 through BYU, online, earned 1/2 credit for each).
-I am 4th in my class
-I think my essays are good - I also have a highly unusual story, including a number of medical interruptions which interrupted my high school years
-My cousins went to Brandeis
-I am Graduating with Distinction (the most academically rigorous honors program) and Service with Distinction (for exceptional community service)
-I also produced a Buzzfeed video that reached over a million views
-I got a letter of recommendation from the rabbi of Dartmouth (which he said that he doesn’t do for anyone - he told me he had taken a special interest in my case and wanted me to attend the school and be a part of the community).
-Unfortunately, I got a 1990 on SATs. Can I retake them in January for regular decision, or is that too late? I am so confused! I really want to retake them! Also, last time I starred a bunch of problems and did not erase my stars - could that have affected my scores? The proctor said that it would not, but I don’t believe him. I am taking SAT IIs on the 5th, so I think my next available date would be January. I really hope it isn’t too late!!!
-I am taking the ACTs on the 12th
-I have done a number of extracurriculars, including Spanish NHS and a paid internship for Stormwater research in my town (I also published a paper on this on the University of Maine’s website, the website that funded the internship)

By the end of this year, I will have taken:

-4.5ish credits of English
-4.5ish credits of mathematics (through AP Stats with .5 of Calc)
-3.5 credits of history (maybe 4 by the end of this year)
-3.5 credits of laboratory science (by the end of this year) + a couple other sciences
-3 credits of Spanish
-2.5 credits of performing/visual arts (including a college level film photography class)

I also did 2 tours, stayed overnight, met the Dean and have been emailing back and forth with him, and participated in the Hillel.

I think you will be able to study at Brandeis next fall as your application is strong and solid enough.
Try your best on the ACT and SAT if you decide to retake the test. Your application is distinctive as you have the rec et from a Jewish teacher. Don’t worry. Application time is tough but you will surely get into the school you like.

And @hangemii98, I am planning to retake the ACT on the 13th and the SAT in January (although I don’t think they’ll see my new SAT scores). I really appreciate your help!!! :slight_smile:
