Forgot to mention, GPA on upward trend

3.3 on an upward trend equals maybe a 3.4 by the time you apply. This is your biggest mill stone. You need to have a realistic suite of target colleges. Your SAT is nice but at schools with under 20% admit rate, you’re swamped by the competition. Good luck

From your list on 12/10. You MIGHT have a chance at Purdue or RPI – maybe CW or UIUC. Some UCs should be OK. None of the others are realistic.

RPI
Case Western Reserve
Umich
UChicago
UIUC
All the UC’s
MIT
Columbia
Purdue

Your gpa is kinda low. That’s pretty much your biggest con. What are you applying as…a language major? If you are the I think you’re going in the right direction. Whatever you are trying to pursue you need to show the admissions that you really have a passion about it. Fill up your ECs with quality activities and leadership positions that reflect what you want to major in.
