Great chance for all

Providence college safety
Loyola University Maryland safety
Boston College Match
Northeastern Match
Boston University low match
University of Maryland College Park low match
Ithaca College
University of San Diego safety
American University low match
Ohio State University match
Georgetown low reach

imo, you have a great chance for all of these schools. Most are safeties/matches. Boston University, Northeastern, and Georgetown are probably the only schools which you MIGHT not get in. You have good ECs which shows you passion for sports and your non-profit sounds interesting. Georgetown is the only reach but you seem qualified enough to get in. Good Luck!

Except georgetown, I think that you should probably get in everywhere. I have heard that georgetown is pretty competitive, so I don’t know about that. Your ECs are really impressive. If you’re good at sports, why didn’t you try to get recurited?

@PureMathIsFun because I’m a good high school athlete but not good enough to compete in college and I wouldn’t want to be recruited even if I was at that level. I play sports because I love to not because I thought they might take me places. Sports for me was always a fun thing to do, I’ll probably play intramural but nothing too competitive after high school.

@hssenior27 I see. Good luck!

I was accepted to Northeastern for Finance and you seem like a great candidate for that school. That is a perfect match. I would seriously consider it. ACT looks good and at least will have you in the running for Georgetown. Its looking good for all of your schools. Best of Luck and thanks for chancing me!

Your resume is pretty dang good. You take a lot of hard classes. The only thing that would stop you from getting into either G-Town or BC is your GPA, but I think you have a pretty good shot.

i think you can get into all of the schools with Georgetown being a little harder. Your gpa is the only thing that’s holding you back from that school. Other than that your application is really solid.

Providence college: You’ll get in
Loyola University Maryland: You’ll get in
Boston College: Maybe. I think this is a high match but you have a good chance
Northeastern: Good shot here. I think you’ll get in
Boston University: You’ll probably get in
University of Maryland College Park: Don’t know well
Ithaca College Probably
University of San Diego: Probably
American University: I don’t know
Ohio State University: You’ll probably get in
Georgetown: Reach

Providence College: Safety (I applied too!)
Loyola University Maryland: Safety
Boston College: High match
Northeastern: Reach
Boston University: Match
University of Maryland College Park: Match
Ithaca College: Safety:
University of San Diego: Match
American University: High match
Ohio State University: Match
Georgetown: Reach

I am doing this based on university averages and what I know from Naviance at my school.

Providence college - Dont know enough about
Loyola University Maryland - Safety
Boston College - High Match
Northeastern - Match
Boston University - Match
University of Maryland College Park - Safety
Ithaca College - Dont know enough about
University of San Diego - Safety
American University - Safety / Match
Ohio State University - Safety / Match
Georgetown - Based on school average and considering that you are a URM I would guess that you would get in. But then looking at my schools naviance graph the average is around a 3.9 and 35 which are the same kids that get into HYPS, so I am not really sure what to say on this one.

I wish you all the best

According to your list, you have a great chance at all. Georgetown may be a bit iffy. But you are a hooked applicant with focused ECs. Good luck!

I go to Ohio State University and I’m like 99% sure you’ll get in. I’m also Ecuadorian and didn’t have as many extracurriculars as you and I got in! As for the other schools, I’m pretty sure you have a very strong chance in getting in as well, even Georgetown. Is that your first choice? Good luck!

I think you’ll get into most, if not all. You even have a pretty good chance for Georgetown. Good luck!

I think you have a solid chance to get into all of these schools perhaps georgetown may be a very small reach but other than that you are solid

Your test scores are all great and that urm status will help. Only downside is uw gpa, but I still think you’ll get into all of your choices, except maybe Georgetown. Good luck!

I think you have a good chance at all, except Georgetown may be a reach. I would say that Ohio State and USD are safeties for you.

Gerogetown I think you have a solid chance! It could go either way, maybe veering slightly positively because your SAT IIs are very good. the rest you’ll likely get into the only other possible difficult to estimate school would be Boston College but they care about legacy so honestly you’re likely set. If you wrote your essay about dual citizenship/caught between two worlds it’s not bad by any means but is sort of an expected topic. Being from Ecuador is interesting and would make a lot of universities interested as you can likely make the campus slightly more diverse and integrated (which is really important considering a true lack of exposure to other cultures many american students have).

Good luck!!!
