Chance me please?

I applied regular decision to computer science in LSA. And U-M is my dream school, but right now I am super anxious and worried I won’t get in.

SAT: reading 580 (bad… I know), math 690, writing 650.
Weighted GPA: 3.98
APs: computer science and calc ab
Clubs: psychology club, mens choir, secretary and technology director of a standardized test help group, code club, club where we help people use computers and run TEDx
Volunteering: TOP soccer (mentor children with disabilities), youth council (various events around town)
Race: African American and Vietnamese
State: NJ
Income: under $30,000
Essays: excellent
Recomendations: English and chemistry (wasn’t allowed to read but I think they’re good)

If you guys can give me any tips how to show my interest too, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you

Also a first generation student

It would be a rather high reach for you. You apply to LSA as undeclared major anyway. Your SAT score is below the 25th percentile. What is your uwGPA?

UW is 3.8

uwGPA of 3.8 is not too bad as it is still within the mid 50 (although below average). How is your course rigor? How many AP do you have, for instance? Course rigor and GPA are considered most important. In any case, your SAT score is ~150 below the 25th percentile and needs to be improved for admission.

I have 9 honors classes, 2 APs, and 3 dual enrollment courses
