Chance Me Please?

I really want to learn what my chances of getting in really are. I got 2 31’s on my ACT’s ( E 33, M 31, R 32, S 27) (E 34, M 28, R 29, S 34) and am taking it again in April. However, my gpa isn’t that good. It’s currently an 86.32 (I didn’t really take school that seriously until now) but should be anywhere from 88-90 after this year is over. I have several other accolades which will be on my transcript, however, such as being in 3 clubs for, most likely, all 4 years of high school (I’m the president and founder of one of them) and being a ski instructor. I also have a ton of legacy at Michigan (Dad, grandfather, grandmother, 2 aunts and an uncle), which should probably help me there.

With this information, can you please chance me for Michigan, Reed, and Northeastern?

I’m assuming you’re not from Michigan because of your GPA scale (correct me if I’m wrong!). If your transcript shows improvement and you explain your grades (saying you didn’t really care until recently might not be a horrible thing, bbut phrase it more gently), then I say you have potential for Michigan. I’m gonna be honest and say that you’re chances aren’t fantastic because your ACT is lowish for OOS and your GPA isn’t fantastic. But the legacy and your involvement might help, as well as if you had a killer essay and rec(s).

I cannot say anything about Reed or NEU, sorry.
