Junior in HS. Out of State. I go to a really well respected public, general admission high school in NJ. I am the captain of the First Aid Squad’s cadet corp and am a certified EMT with 1000+ volunteer hours. My grades are meh, with a 3.6 unweighted GPA and an expected SAT of at least a 1320 (1980 on the old scale). My dad killed himself in the middle of my sophomore year, I was told that may be a factor in their decision. I want to major in either philosophy or Political Science/public policy or something. I write good essays and have some teachers who really like me.
