Home state? Agree with @TomSrOfBoston, you need some solid Match and safety schools or you could end up getting shut out. Double majoring CS/Molecular Bio??? You may want to rethink this idea. Two very hard and labor intensive majors with not much overlap, so you may need an additional year to finish all the classes; think 5 year plan.

Thank you guys for replying so quickly! Yeah I will definitely apply to safeties (I just wanted to know what my chances were for my dream schools. hehe :slight_smile: ) My home state is California so I will get to pay less for Berkeley. @Gumbymom thank you for your advice on for rethinking majoring in CS and Molecular Bio. I have a tendency to overwork myself (I love to work. I hate when I just sit around and waste time) but it is because of this tendency that I am able to overcome tough obstacles. However, I do realize there are somethings one cannot do even if they are hard workers. Therefore, in order to conquer the challenge of double majoring, I have already started studying undergraduate level courses for molecular biology and I plan on studying for CS in the summer. I can also make this challenge easier by applying to schools like Harvey mudd which offer joint majors for CS and Molecular bio which greatly reduces the number of class requirements (allowing me to graduate in 4 years).
