Chance Me, Please

Any advice is very appreciated.

CCC student transferring after 3 years
GPA: 3.39, hopefully 3.6 by the end of the fall
Major GPA: 3.2, hopefully 3.4+ by the end of the fall
Major: Chemical Engineering, possibly with a biomolecular focus.
Prereqs left: O’Chem II, Calc III, Differential Equ., Physics 103,
ECs: Co-Founder of the Robotics Club at my CC, 9 month internship as an “Intern Chemist” (later promoted to Lab Tech for a month) at a Lufthansa Technik electroplating lab, and I spent a summer at USC doing [microbiology] research.
Applying to: UCSB, UCLA, UCB, UCSC, UCI, UCSD, USC, Cal Poly SLO, and Stanford (cause why not).

I’m relying mostly on my ECs and my personal statements. For privates, I should have letters of rec. from a professor at my CC, a professor from USC, or my research mentor. I have had a part-time job (sometimes full-time) during most of the school years. I also have 8 APs from high school, probably won’t matter too much at this point.

Thank you for reading.

What major are you applying at Cal poly Slo, since they don’t have a ChemE major? The only CSUs with ChemE are Pomona, Long Beach, and San Jose.

@Justalittenervous Thanks for catching that. Biochemistry.

@ericeo You should look into UC Riverside because they have 3 sub majors for chemical engineering, and one of them is Biochemical engineering (If you haven’t already).

Are you applying as a Biochem at UCSC too?

@justalittenervous for UCSC, bioengineering. Thanks I’ll look into that.
