In terms of raw stats, do you think I am qualified enough to be competitive for these schools? I realize that some of my AP scores are really low and my SAT II for US History is lacking which makes me scared about applying under biology. I also would like to note that I lack any national awards (aside from AP Scholar Award which is given by default). My awards are all regional including science fairs and some local language/school awards. I heard from a lot of people that it really comes down to your essays once you reach the score averages/requirements. I fear that my lack of awards will put me at a disadvantage compared to other early applicants to Stanford. Thanks!
