Diversity= Divorced parents, eating disorder, live in single-parent home with just mother, low-income

About 1.3% to 3.1%
Your gpa is low and so is your act score.
Legacy is good, but not greatly important
You only have 2 aps
Ecs are good
Divorced parents/eating disorder won’t help or hurt unless you can write about how you overcame such challenges in your essays.
Applying regular decision is super hard to get in as it shows that NU is not your number one choice
What’s left are the essays which are pretty important.

@TheWildCat Actually I will have taken 3 APs plus 6 dual credit college courses. Do you think it would be a waste of money to even apply?

I think you are only a legacy if a parent attended

Wait do colleges seriously look at an eating disorder for diversity?

I would not reveal any psychiatric disorders in my application. Colleges treat these things as a liability and force students to take leaves of absence, be treated as inpatients, or even withdraw from school.

@IN4655 @pacepea I just meant that was something that sets me apart from other people. I talked about it in my personal essay about a failure I’ve had so that is why I included it in my post.
