Hello,
BU has been my dream school ever since I heard of it. i really want to get into BU, especially the Questrom School of Finance. I am just wondering what my chances are. Also, I am fine to go to CGS for 2 years, I just really want to get into BU.
Please tell me my chances for Questrom School of Finance and CGS.
Thank You!

I am probably going to apply regular decision because I hope my senior mid year grades will increase me academically!
Should I apply early decision, because I REALLY want to get into the school?
I’m applying Early Decision for BU too next year! Your stats look really good, and if you know BU is your number one school, you should apply ED for it! ( It’s easier to get in ED too) Good luck!
But I feel like my GPA is too low for BU…If I do really good first semester as a senior( I am taking mostly all APs except for English and Gym), and get good grades, my mid year gpa will be strong. So should I apply Early decision 2 vs ED?
Does Early Decision 2 show the same interest as ED?
It’s up to you, but I think that your high SAT score balances your low GPA! Also, you never know if you may end up doing worse your first semester, plus don’t forget that senioritis may effect your work ethic. Anyway, you have a really good shot in getting into BU and if you end up applying ED 2, it will still show that BU is your #1 school!!
Oh okay thanks!
Good luck to you too!
Your GPA is slightly below average (3.6) for BU, but your test scores look good (75th percentile!) Your ECs are pretty good as well! I’m applying RD next year with similar GPA and higher test scores, and a similar lack of awards and crap. Good luck lol
I wouldn’t recommend doing EDII. This year the ED I acceptance rate was ~42%, the RD was 25%, while EDII was only ~13%. If it’s your first choice do ED I. You may not think your gpa is high enough, but it’s worth a shot. If you get deferred to RD then they’ll get your senior year grades and re evaluate you with those in mind.
Oh okay yeah thanks … I might do ED1 because of the higher acceptance rate and if I get deferred hopefully by senior grades make an impact…
