Chance Me Please

@billcsho

  1. in my school the first semester grades come out after january 1 (in feb) which is much later than the deadline. if there is a school I like (that doesnt count freshman gpa) would I be able to apply ea or should I apply rd for the senior year first semester grades?
  1. What are some schools in northeast that dont count freshman grades? I know about Princeton but some people said that its not definite. The other schools that I am sure about are Stanford and UC's but I am not gonna apply to those anymore because they are too far away (and I have no chance lol). I did some research on this but found nothing.

@TN034154 Many schools have RD deadline in Feb. You should look into that. For schools that have high rejection rate in EA, I would suggest you not even try them until RD with better GPA.

Do you know if princeton and cmu count freshman gpa because if not (only including my grade 10 and 11 gpa) its would be 3.89 uw and 4.07 W

some websites say they do count and some say they dont

@TN034154 do you go to a public school or a private school

Public and its a good size school. About 400 kids in my grade

can someone help me decide where i should ea to and rd

JHU, CMU, Notre Dame, Boston college, brown, cornell, stanford (maybe the wont count freshman gpa), princeton(ive heard they dont count freshman gpa), duke, NYU

ive taken out safeties and I have only one match: boston university. pls lmk if theres anymore; but i personally think all these are reaches (and out of reaches) but i want to take a chance

Georgia tech seems like a match. You should also check out UCSB.
