Please give me chances for each school and thanks. Also which are reaches and which are targets

The Ivies would definitely be reaches. As they are for anyone applying to them. Hopkins, Berkeley and Northwestern would be your targets. I think you have a fairly solid shot at getting into all of your targets. You have the stats and extra curriculars for the ivies but as I’m sure you know, college admissions are a game and you might be qualified but don’t get in. However, with your stats you are qualified for the ivies and I would say you have as good of a shot as you can getting into them. Good luck!

None of theses schools are targets for anyone. They are all reaches, some higher reaches than others, but reaches. Work on finding match and safety schools.

Your GPA seems kind of low. Good SAT and SAT subject tests though. From what I’ve read AP scores don’t really matter until after you’ve been admitted for placing into classes.

You are very well rounded applicant, but schools really want applicants with spikes or something they are passionate about. Do you have anything that shows your passion? Play that up.

Well at my school its rlly hard to get a good gpa cuz its super competitive. I don’t know many ppl with higher gpas than mine and my class has 500 students. I got an A+ in AP chem and an A in AP bio which are both extemely hard at my school and i’ve interned for the past two years at hospitals and im hoping to get a research paper published. Idk if that shows enough passion (for pre-med ofc).

Your stats are fine OP! In no way is your UW 3.9 “too low”. It’s just that all the schools you are gunning for are uber competitive and even with perfect scores there are no guarantees. Certainly apply to some of them but have other schools that are true matches and safeties that excite you on your list too. Don’t set yourself up for heartache next spring.

tbh i don’t think your gpa matters as long as it is above a 3.8 (i was just annoyed at ur comment abt my gpa haha). Specific grades in classes don’t matter as long as they are As. The internship is good and so is the paper.

You have the test scores, but then again, so does every other applicant. What sets you apart? Why should they pick you over anyone else?

lol i meant that ur weighted gpa is prob too low for standford and harvard which is why i asked for ap stuff. Mine is way lower so dw.

Everyone is trying to set themselves apart so idrk what is special and whats not lol

Those schools are reaches for everyone. Additionally, they are extremely different and uber competitive.

You need to add some safeties.
As for Berkeley, if you are not instate, you need a higher GPA.

What do you mean by 3 year varsity letter? As far as I’m concerned you can only get 1 letter jacket… ?!

Well u get a letter for ur first year and each year after u get another bar to add to ur letter so i think its 3? idk

oh, we don’t have that. We just get the jacket it’s the same no matter which year you letter

any other advice?

all schools look like reaches (as they are for everyone), those math and science course scores look great. ECs seem well-rounded, try to look for a spike or something unique. Other than. that I’d say you should be looking at Northwestern, Hopkins, and Berkeley as you targets.
