WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

i have a feeling it might depend on her major...the math sats are a bit low

kiwieux - unless she applied under an impacted major, then it won't make a difference. Her GPA is high and her SAT cumulative is around the average of most admitted students, and her two highest SAT IIs are fine, so I'm pretty sure she'll get in. I don't think she'll get a merit scholarship, her SATs are too low for that.

her major was biological sciences. Se also had the requirments needed for the local context automatic admission deal. I am not to sure what that was all about.

Based on her high GPA and low SAT, I'm assuming that she goes to a high school with a low API score.

GPA: good
SAT I: good enough/above average
SAT II: bad
EC: good

With ELC status, she is in at UCSD.

So the ELC status does something then. Her school she was in the top 4% and it is a Private College Prep school.

Now the uc system will only take the 2 highest sat 2 that means they look at the 790 and the 680 only I am told. Is that correct?

yes that is correct. But they do look at all her scores.. not just the highest ones. They just count the highest ones in their lovely point system.
