<p>GPA: 3.6 UW 4.3 W (upward trend- soph 3.4 junior- 3.8)</p>

<p>ACT: 28 (re-taking in June and October hoping for 29-31)
SAT II:
Physics- 700
US History- 720</p>

<p>Taken 4 AP's so far. AP Euro (4) AP Comp AP Physics Ap American.
Senior year: AP Chem, AP Psych, AP Lit,AP Economics, AP Calc</p>

<p>EC:
JV and Varsity football 4 years
JV and Varsity baseball 4 years

kids helping pets in need
stock market club
100+ hours of community service
Full time job 40 hours/ week (summer job)
Marching Band (4 years)
Science Research (4 years)</p>

<p>My passion is science research which I find very interesting, I have entered many competitions such as Intel, Siemens Westinghouse, Dupont Challenge, Oracle Thinkquest, and Toshiba Exploravision.</p>

<p>I also really enjoy playing my instrument for various occasions, I have played in the football marching band, NYS virtuosi band and the graduation band. When I apply to colleges I may want to tryout for the marching band.</p>

<p>My essays will be strong as well as my recommendations.</p>

<p>I have visited UMich recently so they know I am strongly interested. Thanks guys.</p>

<p>I would definitely apply to LSA.</p>

<p>Your GPA and ACT are below the Michigan means and you are out of state. I'd say Michigan is a realistic reach for you. If you can improve your ACT to 30 or 31, your chances will be improved, but your Sophomore GPA hurts you.</p>

<p>Thanks man, I'm hoping for a 29-31 on my ACTs. The last semester before college in my senior year I will hopefully get all A's.</p>
