your gpa and sat don't match... either you are a terrible test taker or there's bad grade inflation at your school. at any rate, your test scores and generic ECs will prevent you from getting into UCB and UCLA

I am a horrible test taker.... =(

Good GPA and rank, slightly weak ECs, okay honors/awards, weak SAT

Where it stands...

Berkeley/UCLA: slight reach / high match
UCSD: match
UCI/UCD: safe match

Retake the SAT and shoot for 2000+, and Berkeley/UCLA will be matches. It wouldn't matter so much if the rest of the application (ECs, awards) was really strong. Make sure to make your essays the best you can -- awesome essays can get you in.
