Hello
Im trying to get into UCs
Im going to be Junior this yr
my gpa is 3.3 (sophomore)
the reason why my gpa is so low is because i got a D in AP Chem 2nd semester. I got a C in a community college(ap chem)
does that replace my Ap chem grade?(D to C)
and also
Im just going to take 1 ap this year(AP calculus)
Honor US history, Honor Enlgish, and Honors Bio
If i could bring my gpa upto 3.7-8 and 1800-1900 on my SAT
what are my chances of getting into UCs?
my main goal is to get into UCLA or UCSD(any UC is fine :) )
my extra curricular activities are Varsity tennis, community service hours(over 200), and key club
P.S. do u think i have chance for University of Washington?

3.7-8( uc gpa)

I'm not sure whether the C in the community college would offset the D. You may want to retake it at your school?

UCSD would be a high match
UCLA would be a reach.

However, you'll be fine at some of the easier to get into UCs.

Definitely try to raise that GPA and the SAT scores. UCs look heavily upon those. Also, if you're aiming for UCLA, you would want some more leadership roles.
