chances at columbia ed?
chances at brown, northwestern, tufts, harvey mudd, jhu, nyu, suny bing, umich, boston u?
thanks again

222 will probably only be commended since you're in NY.

Are you applying to SEAS or the college?

yeah you got a pretty strong chance at all schools good luck.

college. or should i apply seas? not sure
thanks guys

good luck you have a shot at all of them i would say, but just out of curiousity..whats columbia science honors?

thanks
columbia sci honors is a saturday science enrichment program @ columbia. basically more advanced science classes. its pretty selective to get into

bumpbump =)

bump. add to the awards list national merit semifinalist

bump. please respond.. =)

good chance at all

Great stats! Columbia and Brown are well within your reach and you will probably get into at least one if not both. Northwestern is definitely a match.

awesome. thanks a lot guys

columbia ed-Match
brown-match
northwestern-match
tufts-match
harvey mudd-slight reach
jhu-match
nyu-match
suny bing-safety
umich-match
boston u-match

theres no way columbia and bu can be matches at the same time..o.O

NO kidding!

Columbia ED - a reach, but reasonable especially w/ ED
Brown- reach
NU - low reach
Tufts - low reach
Harvey Mudd - low reach
JHU - low reach
NYU - match (but it's tricky since like 40,000 apply each year!)
SUNY Bing - safety
UMich - out of state... hmm i don't know
BU - Safety

hmm. i guess that looks okay tyvm

Even though you have excellent credentials and I'm sure you would be successful if you were accepted at these colleges, I'm don't think your application will stand out from all the other qualified applicants. If you love these schools, apply to them, because you can never tell.

no hook? yeah thats what i was afraid of... =(

thanks for responding to my chances thread! and so now i'm returning the favor.
your awards look really good, esp since you placed *really*well in several national competitions. i think you have quite a good chance at all your schools.

why have you chosen cc instead of seas, especially since you seem to be really good at engineering? ("national civil engineering competition, 2nd place!") i was just wondering...

well anyways, good luck to you. hopefully we'll both get into where we want to go!

im waiting for gaffe's verdict. dead man walkin?
