<p>Calivla you have a decent shot :) at Duke going by stats from my
school.From what I have seen from my past year high school
stats ... Duke seems very SAT focused at the high end...</p>

<p>This is an area you can address for RD. SAT >> 2250 seem to get treated
relatively well at Duke despite some other severe shortcomings in the
applicant---definite anectodal evidence here. You stats appear way nicer than
those of individuals that got in from my school.</p>

<p>Also make sure you send in the Arts supplement with a recording of
your solo piece if possible. This will have a nice impact.</p>

....calivla is an individual with no control over her/his ethinic background and
every bit of control over her/his interests......there have been studies that
