Excellent recommendations and good essays

Debating applying SCEA or regular to Engineering, would SCEA improve odds?

I think thats most everything, didn't bother listing all EC's (it would bore you all)

I personally don’t judge ECs but I’ll just take your word for it. You have good stats (yes Stanford does not consider 9th grade). What’s your class rank? Your UW GPA isn’t the highest I’ve seen but your class rank can show how it compares to other students. Also Stanford doesn’t have different admission rates for different schools. Everyone it admits is free to major in whichever subject the wish.

Thanks guys,
I know my unweighted gpa isn’t very good. My school doesn’t rank, but I am almost certainly top 5%. I’ve received straight A’s since second semester Grade 10, except for a semester of health (yea…I know). When Stanford recalculates grades, do they only include academic classes, or is band and health included?

I’m pretty sure Stanford only looks at academic classes. If you’ve gotten straight As since 10th grade that also is a plus (shows you’ve been working harder and have gained maturity).
