Varsity cross country and track, 9th - 12th grade
-I wasn’t in a leadership position per se, but the CC/track teams at our school are VERY new (this is the fourth year) so all the original runners have had a big part in shaping the program
No other major EC’s, except for a few random community service oppurtunities, however I have a few hobbies I am very passionate about (photography and writing) which I’ve devoted a lot of time to.</p>

<p>Essay 1 I plan to write about coming from a mixed race background, what I’ve learned from this exposure to different cultures, etc. etc.
Essay 2 I think I’m going to talk about building the CC/track program at my school, and our success (our school became league champs the third year, even though we were up against very competetive schools with well-established programs)
…maybe a little generic, but I’m thinking some more interesting ideas will form during the writing process.</p>

<p>But still, i’ve heard stories of true super-asians getting dominated, and those were in-state kids.</p>

<p>i am worried that i will get rejected from UCLA or UCSD because of my grades. I got C’s both semesters in a class and calculated that if i hadn’t taken the non-required course i would have had a 3.9 UC GPA. Now, because of the C’s i only have a 3.7. Is there any way i can explain this? I really regret taking this course.</p>

Was not accepted for ELC simply because of the honors/ap cap. People in the rank of 50’s at my school were accepted because they simply got more As Soph/Junior in regular classes</p>

I currently have 2 jobs, both average out to be around 20 hours a week.<br>
Founder of National Honors Society at my school and several other clubs. </p>
