What will make my Stats a match??

Jinks, you can’t do much other at this point other than writing a terrific essay and trying to take the December SAT-I as a standby if you are not already registered, aiming for a score greater than 2100.

What bartleby recommended: raise those SAT I scores to 2100 and UCLA will be a Match.

Thanks flopsy i have some motivation now. How about ACT?

and yes i am registered for October.

Get your ACT to 31 and UCLA will be a Match.

UCLA: Safe Match

I have a question about the class rank, where do you say it in the uc application? and i read through the application instruction, which says they want the transcript AFTER the admission
so how are admission office going to see the class rank?

another question, i see people saying “good teacher recs” and things like that. but does it also say that “uc universities do not require or solicit letters of recommendation from teachers”?? so does that mean we can send in recs but they do not require them?

Thanks in advance

“uc universities do not require or solicit letters of recommendation from teachers” from the page above

btw, what’s the deadline for sending in official SAT/ACT scores? can’t find it anywhere on the website..

Thanks for answering these questions

Class Rank doesn’t come into play unless you’re ELC. You should send your SAT/ACT scores by the end of January (according to UCD Admissions)

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry, I had a brain freeze about the recs - you’re right.

thanks Peppers.

aeshchina, “Thanks for the feedback. Sorry, I had a brain freeze about the recs - you’re right.”

so the recs are not needed?
haha, i’m very confused, too since every other college requires them. it just seems a little bit awkward(?) not to have them.lol

UCs don’t require them for regular admissions. You give them, and they throw them away. They’re only “needed” if you’re appealing a decision (ie. you get rejected and want a second, albeit small, shot).

hello all. if you could please comment on my chances for ucla, that would be great.
