<p>The only thing hurting is ur GPA…If u try improving that, u should be fine. All ur other stuff look good. And since ur outta state, that minimizes ur chances by a lot. GL</p>

<p>Well depends on what your class rank it as to how good your GPA really is. Your SAT isn’t that good, but the ACT makes up for it(i got in with the same). Other than the fact that the standards are higher for OOS apps, your in decent shape.</p>

<p>If you’re not a Texas resident, why do you want to attend this school so badly? It’s a public state school–most of the scholarships and funding is allocated to Texas residents. I don’t mean to discourage you from applying, but there are some other options to consider across America.</p>

<p>Even considering the increase of tuition for OOS students, it still pretty cheap compared to other schools.</p>

<p>@Zetetic, Austin is a high-ranking Engineering school. That’s why I’m applying there. It’s not my number 1 choice, but it’s certainly up there.</p>

<p>I live in CA, but I’d rather go to UTA than say…UCI or something. lol</p>
