<p>I'm a white girl form New York city in a public high school
I was looking at last year's class from my school and saw that only 3 people were accepted.. so I became more worried.</p>

<p>GPA- (We don't have a system out of 4.0) but it's 102 weighted
Rank- 2/957
SAT- (superscored)- 720 reading, 750 writing, 760 math
SAT II- 750 Bio M, 750 Math IIC, US History 710, World History 650
AP- Biology-5, World History-4, US History-5, English Lang-4
Currently taking AP Psychology, Government, and BC Calc
Everything else has been pretty much honors..</p>

Key Club- 4 years (Secretary now)
I started my own club with my friend, I'm VP.. We started off last year fundraising for St Judes and expanded into a club this year
Volunteer at Alley Pond this year
Dance (tap/jazz)- 10 years
Write for the school's science newsletter

<p>I know my academics are fine... but I don't have any way of standing out, nor are my extra curriculars all that special.. that's why I'm not all that confident :-&lt;/p>

<p>You have a very solid shot. (Although not, as GreenDayFan says, "in without a doubt".) Obviously your scores are fine. Your ECs are okay, but not overwhelming. Frankly, it will come down to your demonstrated interest and, more importantly, factors beyond your control - like who else is applying from comparable NYC schools, etc. By the way, which school do you attend?
